Living in the United States is too fast-paced. It's so stinkin' stressful...
So here's my solution: Move to a foreign country!
I'm gonna relearn my native language and move to a Spanish-speaking country somewhere out there. Some say that the Spanish language is the most romantic in the world. Imagine ME equipped with THAT... The world would be my oyster! Hahaha...
Sure, life would still have its complications, but I think for the most part, life would be so much simpler. And that's what I want...simplicity. I don't think I care too much about money and all its complications. I just want to enjoy myself and experience life. It's hard to do that in the United States...
The way of life in these Spanish-speaking countries is a lot more laid back. They even have siestas to take a break in the day! People there take time to develop friendships, and there is that true sense of intimacy. (Living here in the United States has retarded my social skills. And I'm a Korean male, so I had little to begin with.) People are generally more festive and animated, too; they're happy people, celebrating with friends and family. In my opinion, people in these countries just enjoy life more. Life is a fiesta!
For right now, all of this talk about moving to a Spanish-speaking country is just that..."talk." But, in the near future, I'd like to take some time off and maybe give it a shot. I mean, there must be a reason that I was born in Argentina... Who knows what will happen?
Heh... I should have been a Spanish major...
